Has any-one else seen this movie yet? I thought it was amazing and have been quite shocked by some of the negative reviews I have heard. In my opinion the dwarves were portrayed very well, particularly Thorin Oakenshield's brooding nature. Bilbo was played well and I loved the attention to detail in the 'riddles' scene.
I was surprised to hear there would be three films as I worried they would have a hard time expanding a single book enough. I have since discovered Peter Jackson was given access to all of Tolkien's notes and they are the source of the additional material.
All in all an excellent movie and I can't wait for the next installment.
